COVID-19 and Support during economic hardships

Our COVID-19 response mainly relates to relief and support to families at the verge of starvation and disease. We received support from the Aids Health Care Foundation (AHF) and other agencies, individuals and well-wishers which resources went into buying essential health care needs, food and household supplies (soap, fuel, toothpaste and other sundries)

In the current economic crisis, Uganda has faced the sharpest rise in fuel and commodity prices with a food inflation valued at 56% in June 2022 and most likely to continue rising as a result of the climatic changes (a major prerequisite and determinant for agricultural production) and possibly other factors beyond the reach of our communities. These are likely to dismally affect our communities.
