Natural Resource Governance

Uganda and particularly Bugiri sit on untapped mineral resources worthy USD 12 Trillions. ICD appreciates the acrimonies and conflicts that come with un-agreed terms of mining in our communities and therefore would take a lead position in community advise on fair and sustainable mining, transparency and accountability in mineral governance as well as fair and sustainable resettlement and compensation.

We also negotiate for fair trade and corporate social responsibilities of those in the extractive industry.
